Iowa Statewide Assessments Structure
Iowa school administrators and teachers will learn about the Smarter Balanced Assessments through a combination of in-person and online professional learning sessions during the next two school years. The collaborative professional learning will focus on understanding the Smarter Balanced Assessment System and identifying resources while developing an implementation plan. In the 2017-18 school year, online professional learning will focus on the digital library, assessment administration, and interpreting score reports.

- Carryover from Spring 2016 - icoaches work with 6-8 ELA to prepare for the shift and create writing assessments that are aligned to the SB performance tasks
